Catch Up...

WOW…well here it is over a year since my last update on our family blog! A LOT has changed! The last time I have an update was from Easter of 2011, Mr. Breckin was a mere 5 months old! Since then, we have moved twice and had a baby girl! Crazy to think that much time and a whole lot of events have happened because I use to be so good with my blog; but now with two babies and moves and one work related accident (Dustin), it’s a wonder I still have a full head of hair…so sorry but the blog got put on the back burner! Haha.

To start off…we LOVE LOVE LOVED our home in Maricopa and loved the community just as much however, we were spending about $1000 a month in gas alone to live out there. It was a VERY hard decision to pick up and move from our lovely home and amazing community back to town. I didn’t want to give up my house and all the room we had (sure wishing now we stuck it out and made it happen somehow) but we did what needed to be done to survive. Haha. We found a little (1200sq ft compared to our 2400sq ft) house in Mesa, only 0.8 miles from my work and about 5 miles from Dustin’s. It was hard to move but I was happy that it was a smaller home to clean, and less travel time spent in the car. We LOVED how close we were to everything! Our intentions were to rent this place for 2 years and then buy our own, however, God had other plans for us. We rented for 1 year and when it was time to renew, was informed by the landlords that they didn’t want the responsibility of landlords and were putting the house up for sale. So here we are now, today, staying with family until we can find a home to purchase. Hopefully soon because living out of a storage unit and 2 bedrooms is tough stuff! We are very grateful for amazing family who has accommodated all 6 of us!

Backing up a little…we moved to our house in Mesa on the 15th of May and found out on the 20th of May that we would be expecting a little bundle on Dustin’s 29th birthday! While the baby was a surprise and of course wanted, our hopes were to be expecting another baby about 10 months later! Haha. We do love our little bundle and wouldn’t trade her for the world!

So that is us for brief overview! You will start seeing a back log of entries for our happenings over the last year! Couldn’t be happier with the point we are at in our lives!

This was the first time he's had candy or anything not formula or baby food!  He loved it and didn't scream when it was taken away...hopefully stays that way as he gets older with things! haha.

iPhone...I hate your stinkin' guts.  You make me SICK!  Haha....we switched to AT&T and I HATE THIS PHONE!!!  It's bigger than my Palm Pre...harder to hold with one hand and text and it HAS NO KEYBOARD!!  I think I fell in love with my Palm...soooo this is going to be a HUGE adjustment!  NOT HAPPY!  Well I'm thankful for my hubby for getting them but really miss my Palm! haha.

2 Month- Well Check

Today our little guy went to see my favorite Pediatrician, Dr. Saba!  I was both excited and nervous for this appointment!  I was so excited to see how much Breck weighed but sad he had to get 5 shots!!  We were up and going bright and early (5:30am), bathed and dressed...when we arrived at the office and I undressed the guy he had this HORRIBLE rash all over the trunk of his body!  Nothing changed out of the ordinary; same body wash, laundry soap, shampoo & lotion.  Its gone now so who knows!  He was happy to see Dr. Saba as smiled as usual as he pinched his cheeks like he does every time we visit; but he was not so happy to see his MA since she hurt him!  He screamed so load then as she walked out the door he stopped, looked at me, curled his lip and screamed some more! He slep all afternoon and some Tylenol broke his low grade fever and made him feel better because now he's wide awake!  Hopefully no pain tomorrow!  You did good buddy...such a trooper!

So all afternoon we just hung out and took a nice nap!  I love our afternoon naps (when I actually get one)!

9weeks 3days....

WOW....it's really been 9 weeks already?  This little man is soooo loving and chubby! !  He enjoys long walks, a nice cozy blanket, his pacifier and talking up a storm!  He's on a schedule and only gets up maybe once in the middle of the night!  He's in bed by 8pm (usually) and loves making us laugh at him!  He loves himself some nice Pear Juice (diluted to the max of course) and has mastered the bottle (a plus for when I go back to work)!  He's our sunshine!!!

I'm on a craft kick today and what better than to use some old shirts, etc that I was going to get rid of!  So I made some headbands and so far this is what I've got!  What do you think??
