ROSETTES...MY FAVORITE THING!

I'm on a craft kick today and what better than to use some old shirts, etc that I was going to get rid of!  So I made some headbands and so far this is what I've got!  What do you think??

Sprik Space!!!

I've been on the blogging kick here this week and have to say I ABSOLUTELY LOVE SPRIK SPACE!!!  Aimee has some VERY insperational stuff on her site, some that I even printed off and posted in our home!  I love it!  The printables are the best and I've even found a collage of ones I loved for Breck's room!  He has this bare wall behind his crib that could use some sprucing up...just haven't found exactly what I was looking for until now!  So...if you get a chance take a peek her way!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Happy New Year EVERYONE!!!  We are sooo excited to see what 2011 brings our family!  We had big things happen in 2010!

• February 12th- Visited Spokane, Washington and realized WE DIDN'T want to move there! lol
• February 19th- Found out we were EXPECTING and prepared for the little one!
• May 22nd- Moved our family to Maricopa from Mesa (we still LOVE it out here)
• May 24th- Dustin started a new (better) job at Modern Industries and LOVES his job!
• June 18th- Found out the sex of the baby and prepared more for the littlest Man Cub!
• July 3rd- Celebrated our 1st Anniversary as a MARRIED couple!
• October 31st- Welcomed our son, Breckin Robert into the world and FELL IN LOVE! 
• November- Enjoyed our 1st Thanksgiving Feast in our new home!!!
• December- Loved our 1st Christmas as a family of 3 and rang in the New Year with Chili, movies and each other's company!  (it was waaayyy to cold to go out, and all three of us haven't been feeling well).

We hope each of you had a safe and happy New Year's and we look forward to many memories in 2011!

I am THANKFUL for everything ANYONE has done or continued doing for me and my family.  All the prayers, gifts for the baby, gifts for the parents, support, love and kindness.  I am THANKFUL for ALL the people in our life, near or far.  I am THANKFUL we have wonderful supportive families, our health, wealth and richness in our lives.  I am THANKFUL for the ability to stay home with our baby while Dustin works his TAIL off to provide for our family.  I am eternally THANKFUL for his HARD WORK everyday, I know it's exhausting both physically and mentally.  I am THANKFUL God is in our lives and guides us in the right direction EVERY DAY!

This video is heartbreaking and reminds me why I love my job as much as I do.  While most days are bitter-sweet I know we make differences in the little ones lifes everyday.  Our littlest friend Konner is featured in this video and makes me thankful for our health everyday.  May we all strive to be as strong as these little ones and their parents.

This little baby was WIDE awake @ 130am ready to PAR-TAY!!! Not sure why he thought that was a good idea for 2HRS but maybe it's because HE'S 2 MONTHS OLD!!! :)

Christmas with the Brown's

This year as well as several past, Christmas Eve was spend with Dustin's Dad's family!  Everyone gathers together for food, good fun and gifts!  This year was no different and we are VERY THANKFUL FOR EACH AND EVERY ONE OF YOU!!!  Breckin thanks you all for his Christmas gifts...next year will be when the real fun for him begins!  Thank you Bob, Merrie and Michael for inviting us into your home for such a special time of year. Thank you Michael for the wonderful Bed, Bath & Beyond gift card...it's gonna be handy!  Also, thank you Merrie for the great Harley Davidson gifts!

BIG BOY!!

Well I stopped into my office to have lunch with my favorite girls and we weighed Breckin!  He's almost 8 weeks old and he weighs 12lbs. 8oz.!  He's sooo stinkin' cute and growing so fast...where did the last 8 weeks go?

Daddy Diaper Duty

hahahaha....i purposely gave the baby to Daddy to change him...i hear: "Babe...come quick...you are conna have to finish changing his diaper or i'm going to throw up". I told him "nope, finish...hold your breath...i change them ALL week"! hahahha....

Shutterfly=FREEBEE!!!

Gotta love FREE stuff....just got an 8x8 photo book through Shutterfly for free...just had to pay shipping...but had a coupon for FREE shipping too...so a nice FREE gift for someone in the family! SCORE!!!

My baby weighs 11lbs 7oz!!! He's getting so big....soooo sad about this!

Date Night!

Sooo...I've been in Show Low since the Sunday of Thanksgiving and Dustin came to pick me up and spend the weekend!  We had a date night last night! Dinner @ Torreon Golf Club followed by a few games of bowling then laughter with Due Date (the most hilarious movie this year)!!! Thanks Dustin and thanks Katrina for babysitting!  We forgot how to have fun with all this baby stuff and have kind of become boring! haha.  It was definitely worth the $92.00 dinner and everything else we did!  We should have date night more often for sure...just not spend as much money! hahah.

Christmas Gift Baskets

So this year instead of purchasing gifts for EVERYONE, I decided to put my skills to work and get crafty!  I made 20 gift baskets which included some nice Vanilla scented Therapy Bags, homemade cookies, homemade chocolate covered pretzels, notepads, journals, plates that said:  "With the busy holiday season upon us, let our family do the dishes for you this week"!  I also put in cookie dough that read:  "We could all use a little DOUGH this time of year"!  I made some metal magnet boards that I absolutely fell in love with, but i have no picture of!  Hmmm...what else was in there!  I did some cute little Pop Top Treat cans that were a great idea but a PAIN IN THE REAR to seal shut!  I'll try them again next year! haha.  

With all the Christmas spirit around me I have been playing Christmas tunes all day long!  I love it!  I hope everyone enjoys the baskets as much as I did while creating the stuff inside!  I'm STILL not done with the puzzles and calendars i've been wanting to do.  Mainly because my stinkin' printer won't allow me to print a 7x7 photo!  Not happy about this at all!
